April

With springtime upon us, and the Easter holiday a few days away, please consider this verse from the book of Moses:

"And behold, all things have their likeness, and all things are created and made to bear record of me, both things which are temporal, and things which are spiritual; things which are in the heavens above, and things which are on the earth, and things which are in the earth, and things which are under the earth, both above and beneath: all things bear record of me." Moses 6:63

Springtime is a powerful testimony of God. Plants that were dead, now jump to life. Think of the tulip bulb buried in the dark, cold earth, apparently dead. By responding to the warmth and light of the sun, it is able to grow, and over time becomes a glorious being in the full sunlight.

Likewise, if we let our hearts respond to the light and warmth of God's teachings, we may rise up and become strong and glorious beings in His presence. Springtime provides powerful symbols for the life and light God brings to our lives if we let Him. Springtime provides powerful symbols for the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the hope that we too may be raised from death to enjoy eternal life.

May you remember and love Jesus Christ, your Savior, during this season.
