The word I noticed most in General Conference last month, perhaps because I am in need of correction and guidance, was the word "invite”. I don’t believe it is a light thing when the oracles of the Lord use a word such as this, as it is part of their calling to do so.

"Our message to the world is simple and sincere: we invite all of God’s children on both sides of the veil to come unto their Savior, receive the blessings of the holy temple have enduring joy and qualify for eternal life.”(APRIL 2018—Let Us All Press On By President Russell M. Nelson)

Those who are ready to hear, on both sides of the veil, will hear the pleading of one who is a seer in the true sense of the word. We’re invited to change our views in small and simple ways, and to take action with significant effect in the lives of those we serve.

"I invite you to inspire members to keep their covenants, fast and pray, study the scriptures, worship in the temple, and serve with faith as men and women of God. We can help all to see with the eye of faith that obedience and righteousness will draw them closer to Jesus Christ, allow them to enjoy the companionship of the Holy Ghost, and experience joy in life!
